Polat Makina Lays the Foundations for Manufacturing Its New High-Tech Product

Operating under the umbrella of Polat Group Holding, Polat Makina secured its place among the first 10 projects supported in Turkey for the manufacturing of “Supercritical Fluid Extraction and Separation Systems” under the “Technology-Oriented Industry Move” program implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Technology.

Constructed in the Aydın Organized Industrial Zone and planned for completion in 18 months, the foundations of the new manufacturing facility were laid as of May 3, 2021.

As one of the first 10 projects selected for national support—announced by our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in August last year—this manufacturing project will generate added value for our country and expand the role of Turkish industry in global markets.

Set to be manufactured for the first time in Turkey with an industrial focus, “Supercritical Fluid Extraction Systems” will significantly elevate processing quality for medicinal and aromatic plants. Utilizing this product, botanical extraction will be performed without heat exposure or harmful chemical solvents, preserving natural compounds intact without thermal degradation. Furthermore, this system is recognized worldwide as the most advanced technology for obtaining botanical extracts today.

Building upon its global position established since 1993 in industrial centrifuge technologies, decanters, and separators, Polat Makina continues to break new ground with the “Supercritical Fluid Extraction” system, manufactured in Turkey for the very first time.
