Fruit & Vegetable Processing
Quality in juice production starts with effective separation. Polat Makina’s advanced centrifuge systems deliver excellent results in pulp removal and clarification, helping maximize product quality. With Polat Makina’s expertise, you can achieve maximum efficiency and reliable, uninterrupted operation throughout the processing season.
Technological Excellence in Juice Production
Polat Makina centrifuges play a critical role in fruit juice production, contributing to both product quality and process efficiency. Their continuous-operation design ensures a steady, uninterrupted production flow and helps maximize plant capacity utilization.
Fully automated operation and a completely enclosed system design protect the process from external contaminants, maintaining high standards of hygiene. This design also simplifies cleaning operations, enabling fast, safe, and effective cleaning through Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) systems.
Efficient solid particle separation improves product clarity, reduces the filtration load, and helps extend shelf life. With these advantages, Polat Makina centrifuges are essential equipment for the fruit and vegetable juice industry, supporting consistent product quality and enhanced operational efficiency.
Step-by-Step Process Excellence in Juice Production
After washing and crushing the fruit into pulp, the material is fed into a decanter centrifuge, which removes pulp and solid particles. The raw juice is then directed to a separator centrifuge to remove fine particles and achieve clarification. The clarified juice subsequently undergoes heat treatment in a pasteurizer. If a concentrated product is required, the juice is further concentrated in an evaporator during the final stage of processing until the target solids content is reached.
Since uninterrupted operation and high efficiency are critical throughout the processing season, Polat Makina's equipment is continuously monitored by process specialists to maintain optimum production conditions.
Polat Makina decanter and separator centrifuges can be used at various stages of the process, including direct fruit juice extraction, secondary extraction, juice clarification, and juice recovery from retentate.
