The "Digital Transformation" Journey Continues at Polat

Polat Makina has launched a major digital transformation initiative, stepping into a new era with the next-generation SAP S/4HANA ERP solution.

As the pace of the business world accelerates, the burden placed on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems continues to grow. Taking action to meet these demands, Polat Makina launched a major digital transformation initiative, taking its first step toward adapting SAP S/4HANA into its operations on December 21, 2019.

Attended by SAP Turkey officials, the launch meeting introduced the “Digital Transformation Project”—an initiative spanning all departments across Polat Group designed to create superior customer and employee experiences.

Prior to the presentations by SAP officials, key project sponsors shared their strategic expectations. Addresses were delivered by İbrahim Polat, Chairman of the Board of Polat Group; Olcay Polat, Executive Council Member responsible for Polat Group Redüktör (PGR); Volkan Polat, General Manager of Polat Makina; Neclet Demir, General Manager of PGR; Rıza Korkut Özdemir, General Manager of Polat Group Holding; and Lütfi Polat, Executive Council Member responsible for Technical Field Services.

Following the executive speeches, representatives from industry-leading SAP partner firms delivered project introduction presentations. The event concluded with a commemorative group photo and a ceremonial cake cutting in honor of the project launch.
